Shree Balaji hospital was started in the year of 1984 on Shree Ganesh Chathurthi day with a commitment to provide ethical and wholesome health care at an affordable cost to all in Virar. When there was no municipal and government hospitals to cater to the health needs. Initially started as a 6 bedded hospital with fully equipped operating theatre and about room now has grown up to a 15 bedded hospital catering health care to all individuals. Shree Balaji hospital now covers spectrum of health care including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Craniofacial, Aesthetic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Burns care, Microvascular Surgery, Brachial Plexus Surgery,Diabetic foot care and Colorectal Surgery including Piles, Fissure and Fistula.

The spectrum of healthcare includes high risk Obstetrics and Gynecology care, Laparoscopy Surgery Vaginal Surgery and Hysteroscopy, General Surgical and Colorectal Surgical management, Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
